“It takes a whole lot longer to dispose of a body than to dispose of a soul, especially if you don’t want to leave any evidence of foul play”

This’ll be the third boyfriend Ayoola’s dispatched in, quote, self-defence and the third mess that her lethal little sibling has left Korede to clear away. She should probably go to the police for the good of the menfolk of Nigeria, but she loves her sister and, as they say, family always comes first. Until, that is, Ayoola starts dating the doctor where Korede works as a nurse. Korede’s long been in love with him, and isn’t prepared to see him wind up with a knife in his back: but to save one would mean sacrificing the other…
My Sister, the Serial Killer is a blackly comic novel about how blood is thicker – and more difficult to get out of the carpet – than water…
My sister, the serial killer : Review:
It is a fantastic short story about two sisters, Ayoola and Korede. Korede is a nurse in a well-known hospital and Ayoola is the one who kills men out of anger or self-defense as she tells korede the situation that led to her killer behavior. More than serial killer, the book focuses on the sisterhood and siblings. A Nigerian family and their rough life puts them into certain circumstances and Ayoola keeps a knife in her purse. Ayoola’s obsession with men and social media was unacceptable to Korede but at the same time it was uncontrollable too. All comprised that Korede was a good big sister to such a silly girl. The story also highlights the women power against the world. The protagonist is herself very motivating and also the supporting character.
All the Chapters were very short and it was like I was turning pages in seconds. It is a book to be read in one day. I took some long time to finish it and stretched it because I did not want the book to finish.
The story of a typical family was described well. No fantasy at all. All the truths. This type of books are my favorite. Written from the real world point of view and not just fake thrown love between characters which is normally found in young adult book.
